2017, 2018 and 2019 have been big years of travel for us. We've been across the world and back countless times, journeyed to literally distant lands, lived in different countries and explored our own homes. Here's to more travel, but first, here's to a video documenting a small part of that.
To those who wonder how we travel: how do we have the money and the time? We don't. We've are and have been lucky enough to stumble upon incredible opportunities allowing us to live in different places. We have worked and saved hard. And, of course, we are in a good place where we are financially able to book small and large trips. But we are always budget travellers, budget livers in fact. We save wherever we can, no new clothes, no big meals out, no fancy gifts. Our gifts to each other comprise mostly of something hand made, something personal, or an experience that money can't buy.
If you want to travel, you can do it. You may have to work hard, save hard, and try hard but if you want it don't let travel-economics put you off.
